Experience the haunting beauty of the Namib Desert at Little Kulala Camp, the only lodge with direct access to the Sossusvlei desert of Namibia. Little Kulala offers 11 modern climate-controlled villas with bleached decks, each with a private plunge pool. The lodge overlooks a water hole in the desert, drawing in game such as gemsbok (oryx), bat-eared fox, jackal, springbok and ostrich. Guided drives to the stunning Sossusvlei dunes are through a private gate in the reserve. Guided drives and walks are also offered on the private reserve in which Little Kulala is based.

The private 37,000-acre Kulala Wilderness reserve features specialized antelope species such as Oryx, desert-adapted Flora, star-gazing and bird walks. A guided game drive to Sossusvlei & Dead Vlei with hiking at Sesriem Canyon. Little Kulala also features special rooftop 'Star Beds' for a night under the desert skies. Another option, at extra cost, is a 60-minute balloon safari at first light, soaring silently above magnificent dunes (not offered in the hot months). Activities: Guided visit to Sossusvlei and Sesriem, Morning and afternoon drives, Guided quad biking, Hiking on the Black Mountain Trail. Stargazing with our guides.
